This ain’t your Daddy’s fun run. The Craft Beer Relay is like nothing you have done before. The 5k’ish 4 person relay will challenge your will and your palate as you and your teammates navigate a race course filled with team games and individual challenges. 12 local craft beer stations along the course are sure to keep you motivated! Before and after your race, enjoy an awesome craft beer festival with live music, food trucks and all your favorite local craft breweries pouring their delicious beer for you. To top it off, this event is taking place at historic Bates Nut Farm...and what goes better with beer...nuts!

THE LINEUP

The, most likely by now, world famous, Craft Beer Relay is coming to San Diego, April 2, 2016! The relay and beer festival is all happening at historic Bates Nut Farm.

EVENT SCHEDULE (TBD)

  • Check-in starts at 11am
  • Festival opens at 11am
  • Breweries start pouring cold ones 11am
  • Heats start at 1pm
  • Live music starts at 3pm
  • Awards at 6pm
  • Doors close at 8pm

THE FESTIVAL

Take in the spectacle that is the Craft Beer Relay from the festival. Enjoy cold craft beers from the 12 local participating breweries, games, live music and the awards show, including best costumes, team names, fastest times and more.

ASSEMBLE YOUR SQUAD

It’s a relay and you’re going to need your best drinking partners, running friends, or that crazy acquaintance who is always down for a good time while wearing just a Speedo. Don’t have a team, no worries, register as an individual and we’ll make sure you make it onto a team of soon to be good friends.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • A team of 4
  • Killer costumes

  • Your ID
  • A print out of your registration confirmation and any comp codes used.

  • Cash for the delicious food trucks and beer tickets

  • A safe plan for you and your team to get home. Let us know, we can help with transportation.

  • Clear eyes, full heart and you can’t lose

CHECK-IN

Packet pickup and check-in will start at 11am the day of the relay. All team members must have their ID’s with them, and the team captain, must have the registration confirmation.

BAG CHECK

There will be an on-site bag check for $5.

SPECTATORS

This isn’t Cricket, The Craft Beer Relay is a spectator’s sport. Come enjoy the festival and chaos of the race. This is a 21 and over event and entry is $10.

RESPONSIBILITY

We’re all about good clean fun. Lets keep it smart, classy and use good common sense to make this the event you’ve heard that it is. Beer stations are provided on the course, but it is the racers discretion to stop and drink. Non Alcoholic options will be available. Racers who are deemed unable to race will be removed from the course at the operator discretion. Safe transportation is the responsibility of the participant.
